Description:

This is the palest Mistle Thrush I ever saw. It had me quite puzzled for a while. I wish I'd been able to get closer.

Juvenile

It looks pale because it is a juvenile, with pale, scaly-appearing feathers on the upperparts. It will moult those out later in the summer and appear the more familiar colour you are used to.
