Bee

Not a bee - eyes too large, and only one pair of wings. It is almost certainly a hoverfly. Possibly Myathropa Florae.

The pale tarsi confirm E.

The pale tarsi confirm E. pertinax. M. florea is much yellower and has a broken yellow band across the thorax.
