Even when the two species are

Even when the two species are growing together they can be told apart as they have very different leaves and flowers.

Common Whitlowgrass has flowers with deeply divided petals and the leaves and stem are more/less hairy:

Danish Scurvygrass has white or mauvish flowers with un-divided petals and the leaves are fleshy, hairless and somewhat ivy-shaped:
