Quite large. Pale cap with dark brown blotches.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

The blotches were dark brown.

Shame I did not notice these

Shame I did not notice these earlier as i would have gone to have a look, presumably you just went across the field from the carpark if that location you gave was accurate.

Fungi

I had walked from Bow Brickhill towards Little Brickhill to view the "Shire Oak". Then crossed the road and walked back up over the golf course to return to BB. About 5 miles, so location wasn't spot on.
