The leaves are toothed is that typical of sea plantain?
With the ID provided above I can now see the teeth on the leaves as typical of Buck's horn plantain. Wasn't able to study these specimens carefully enough in field as I was walking with 2 small children and a dog!! Photos literally taken as I was walking past things. Thanks all for ID and comments.
Surprising that no-one has agreed in all this time. Like all good iSpotters, I am here because I posted my own today - http://www.ispotnature.org/node/751718
