Found this caterpillar at the Lizard in Cornwall.
Was quite big, looked almost ready to pupate.
Was feeding on hottentot fig.
Lat/long is not entirely accurate.
Found somewhere along the walk from Kynance Cove to the Point.

ID Comment

Assuming that I am correct the Pale Grass Eggar (f. flava) is not recorded from this area and is mainly found in the SE of England.

I had a look at other images of the same species, and the face is exactly the same as the one I saw.
