Description:

Marsh and bog isn't a good description of the habitat, but it's not far off. The pylon is one of several that march across Rye Meads reserve. The box the female bird is on is the newer of the two attached to it, but it isn't the one the kestrels like - they still use the old one, shown in the third picture.
