Zebra spider

I found one of these this week too, it was on a birch tree. Although it looked a bit more flattened than this one, so maybe it was one of the other species.

If you find a Salticus on a tree trunk there is a good chance it's one of the two less common species (cingulatus, zebraneus) rather than scenicus.
