OK, I've been digging into C. problematicus now you've pointed out its existence to me. Can you explain the differentiaton, please?

I see Martin Harvey suggests "raised edges of the pronotum" pointing to C. problematicus in another old post but I'm seeing those on other C. violaceus pictures, too.

Confusing!
