Description:

Larva/caterpillar with black & white tufts. New to me but Googled image of Dark Tussock Moth larva looks to be a likely candidate. (Had difficulty getting the camera to focus properly. This cropped photo was the best shot I got.)

Just found this reference from a Northern Ireland site

Interestingly it says "A scarce, local species that is apparently restricted to a few boggy localities in north Armagh, including Peatlands Park and the Argory" - Peatlands Park is where I saw it.
