The main differences between the males (which this is) is that the Small Red has a near all red abdomen with only very feint black segmental rings and has no antehumeral stripes on top of the thorax.
This specimen has orange stripes on top of the thorax and bold black markings on abdominal segments 7 and 8, which make it a Large Red.
