Yellow crown

Hi Douglas, looks like I missed the mark with this one!
Is it just the yellow crown that distinguishes this from A. reaumurella or is there any other visible differences? I must admit I didn't think it was yellow enough but on closer examination of a picture from a different angle I see it is... Another lesson learned!!

Hi Richard, I think the best

Hi Richard,

I think the best way is the yellow crown, but smaller size, and brassy looking wings help. (usally very black wings on reaumurella)

They are pretty similar though.

Best wishes,

Douglas
