Meadow Pipit
Meadow Pipit
Description:

Small little bird with brown streaks on body and black streaks on chest. I'm pretty sure he is a tree pipit but could he be a meadow pipit? He was on a fence post of a field in an area of rough farmland adjacent to the Creag Meagaidh Nature Reserve in Scotland.

You seem to have used the Latin name for a Tree Pipit ?

Incorrect Scientific name

Hi Chris
Thanks for that - I noticed that after I have saved my post, I forgot to change it after trying to decide if it was a meadow or tree pipit. I have just worked out how to change the title and all the names. It should now read the correct scientific name of Anthus pratensis
