Turkish water frogs

The Levant water frog Pelophylax bedriagae was once considered part of the marsh frog (now with the scientific name of Pelophylax ridibundus) but has been relatively recently identified as a separate species. The "true" marsh frog doesn't occur in this part of Turkey.
