There are very large quantities of C.micaceus growing all around, at various growth stages, none of it looking like this, in colour or texture. This stood out as it looked like common inkcap with a strange cracked pattern on the cap. My lens often adds an ochre tinge which is not there in the actual subject, these were very grey
You may well be right about c. atramentarius as this certainly does not look like typical c. micaceus although its not absolutely typical of c. atramentarius either. do you have a general shot showing them all together so we can see both species.
