Great photo, I have been trying to get a picture of one of these for the last month, they just keep flying by me very close.

It was taken from a distance of about 6ft with a 400 mm telephoto. They are very flighty this time of year. You can normally get closer to them when the summer brood emerge in July/August - there are more flowers around which encourage them to settle for longer.
