Description:

Habitat was bare open area near woodland, growing next to my previous spot of Thyme-leaved speedwell

Which?

Common field speedwell has solitary flowers in leaf axils. Wood speedwell has racemes like this plant. Ivy-leaved has noticeably smaller, pale lilac flowers, single I think, and differently shaped leaves. I don't find these easy either!
