Spotted on peat moor. About 40mm high.
Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
No interactions present.
Looks like Cordyceps possibly C. longisegmentis which I have not seen before and may be rather rare. They grow on buried insect pupae or other fungi.
Oops just seen the other copy of this observation with other comments about Cordyceps. Perhaps delete this observation with my comments on and put the name on the other observation.
