Branched

Hi cicuta58, I puzzled over this for some time and just want to pick your expert brains please.

I believe Sea Spurge is unbranched which is why I went for Portland Spurge. There is also Sea Spurge growing along the beaches here and it is very different from this example i.e. leaves all along the stem. The habitat would also suggest Portland Spurge as it was growing on a cliff face and not on the sand / dunes. The early date of flowering would also suggest Portland Spurge.

I would be grateful for any input you can supply please, I thought I had it straight but I'm now a little confused.

Regards Chris

I'm sure portlandicum -

I'm sure portlandicum - smaller and has these reddish semi-prostrate stems.
