A Harlequin, form conspicua, of mixed parentage - one parent was form conspicua, the other was form succinea. The white ends to the pronotum rule out the Chilocorine species (Pine, Heather & Kidney-spot ladybirds), and the red spots don't touch the edges of the elytra at either the front or sides which rules out the melanic forms of 2-spot and 10-spot
