Description:

Black, rounded lumps, each about 3cm long on hawthorn twig. Lumps have panelled appearance with what appear to be small spots widely spaced on the panels. Possibly Exidia glandulosa.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Thank you for identification. I was looking at some lichens but attracted to the intricate surfaces of these 'lumps'.
