Looks like it might be a shed reptile skin and in this location it could only be from a common lizard.
No interactions present.
This looks more like snake skin to me.. But obviously given the location this is unlikely. Maybe just becasue there is no scale (excuse the pun..!). Can you recall how big this piece of skin was?
I think the (lack of) scale is confusing. When I zoomed in as much as I could I could see some lizard-type ventrals and given the the location it would be a common lizard.
Unfortunately I deleted the original photo from which this was cropped, it might have given a better sense of scale. Anyway, I would estimate the width of the skin at the lower end (in the photo) to be about 1.5cm and the whole piece to be about 8cm long.
Sounds about the right size for a common lizard.
