Saw this group feeding in a burn by a fish farm. Not a very clear photograph hope is is good enough

domesticated strain

At least two (maybe three) of these ducks appear to have more of the Indian Runner about them than Mallard strain. Note the slender appearance/long slender neck etc. Only the bird in centre foreground resembles Mallard shape.

Interesting

I was puzzled recently when I saw what appeared to be a Mallard drake with a white breast - very similar to one in your photo. I didn't realise there were hybrids with other species of duck.
