Fledgling Blue Tits have yellow cheeks and much looser feathering...this is an adult.

It did seem very advanced for a fledgeling and not really scruffy enough, but it's odd behaviour made me assume it was a precocious chick - unusually low and close, apparently uncertain, distinctly less less purposeful than an adult.

I get lot's of blue tits in the Raspberry and other fruit bushes eating small insects I would have thought.
Just noticed in pic 2 some white flecks on its back. As I peered in to check if it was a youngster or not I'd have noticed and that's what confirmed a fledgling for me, now I see it's a bit of light colouring which through the canes suggested scruffiness
