Excellent photo, I wish we had badgers in our area; the nearest sett is around 2km away and they never come visiting our gardens.

Was it raining when you took these photos? It's just that the badger's fur looks very scruffy as though it were wet.

Yes it had been raining for

Yes it had been raining for some time, also the other side of where it has made a hole in our fence to get in is a small, shallow stream about 2 foot wide, so that may be making it wet as well
