Have seen this in cultivation in G.B.probably Kew.A. monelli comes up on Enc. of Life & pic looks the same.needs more work to link these .up
Anagallis monelli is a perennial species not found in France; it occurs in Portugal, Spain, Sardinia, Sicily.
Anagallis arvensis comes in scarlet and blue flowered forms. Anagallis foemina is only blue.
They are treated as distinct species by Flora Europaea and here http://luirig.altervista.org/flora/anagallis.htm
According to Flora Europaea Vol. 3, p. 28:
5 Marginal hairs of petals numerous, always 3-celled 4. arvensis
5 Marginal hairs of petals absent of few, usually 4-celled 5. foemina
Many thanks for all the comments and links. The conclusion I come to is that this is foemina as it has very few marginal hairs. Now to find the others!!
I agree. I have found blue A. arvensis in Sardinia which I will add later.
