TL330395 is not a known site for Polygala calcarea, nor is anywhere in TL. It is absent from Hertfordshire and this must be P. vulgaris as listed in Dony, J. G. 1967 Flora of Hertfordshire.
From NBN map the 100 km squares where it is present are SK, SO, SP, ST, SU, SY, SZ, TF, TQ, TR, TV
Before joining iSpot I was looking for someone I could discuss my photos with - you will gather that I have no botanical background just a love of wildflowers, so I am interested to see how you work these problems out. Once again thanks for the latest info. Will edit accordingly.
You get to some really interesting places and have seen quite a lot of flora that overlaps with my experience. I always look forward to your observations!
I still have loads more to download but am afraid the PC is running at 97% capacity and being so far from the capital (18miles) our download speed is less than 500mbs!!
I wish I had the knowledge to reciprocate with your observations but I havn't yet got on to trees and shrubs, concentrating on wildflowers and anything that catches my eye as being interesting.
