Small 6mm weevil covered in short green hairs, red legs with distinct spine on the underside of the femurs, climbing up a fence post before taking off..

I thought this one might be P glaucus, but would be grateful to know why you think P. pyri is the most likely. What are the key characters?

glaucus is more "sportive"

compared to the rather clumsy pyri.
