I think this is Bewick's - whooper seems to have more 'roman nose' beak, but would appreciate opinion more expert than mine:-)
Is this also known as the tundra swan, as the iSpot system changed the common name to this and also suggested a different scientific name (Cygnus columbianus) to that which I expected?

Latin name

Hi Gill, Cygnus columbianus seems correct to me, you ought to insert it though.

Bewick's sub-species

Thanks Chris. iSpot suggested a Bewick's sub-species so I added the Latin name for that but it's posted as two separate IDs for some reason. Sorry about that all - can't see how to tidy it up.
