I live in West Wales near Lampeter and our house is surrounded by countryside. The good thing 'NO NEIGHBOURS'! We have an amazing amount of wildlife around us and I noticed this year after the harsh winter we have no wrens around. I have search and listened as we usually have plenty around.
The other is the Marsh/willow tit. I can never tell the difference, but in the last three years the numbers have reduced on the bird table immensely.
This makes me sad to see the reduction of a species and not having the wren around is not good. I miss its trills and warbles. I hope they come back as I know the insects were hard to find over winter for them
