Flowers all yellow is not the

Flowers all yellow is not the distinction because ligules can be all yellow in C. coronaria. Flowers are somewhat larger in G. coronarium. The leaves are lobed almost to the midrib suggesting that this is G. coronaria. The achenes would further distinguish these two species.

Flowers

I did say "flowers all yellow" for G. segetum. What you mean is flowers can be all yellow for G. coronarium. I agree with your leaf character and would withdraw my error if I could!

Thanks, that is what I meant (corrected)! I also meant G. coronaria. Must pay more attention to detail :-)
