Description:

I think this one's difficult. Blue butterfly in the southern half of Spain, east coast mountains area. I'd say not a Baton Blue because there's no orange in the underside markings. The chequered border and forewing tick marks seem to indicate either the Panoptes Blue (Pseudophilotes panoptes) - more likely - or False Baton Blue (P. abencerragus) which I have a feeling cannot be ruled out, either by location or markings.
So, I'm just going for Pseudophilotes.
Lovely creature, though. :)
