_MG_9586 polyporus?

After seeing http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/252020 thought I'd also put on a polyporus I was not sure about, this time from a few years ago. Almost looks like Grifola frondosa but less meaty. Actually come to think of it there is another one http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/10539 that might also be a polyporus and also has no ID. Also another one just added http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/256340

Have added the other two photos I took at the time. P. umbellatus is supposed to look like little umbrellas and these look more shelf like

Do you know what tree species it's growing on?

My first impressions were of Meripilus giganteus, but it's not right for that. But the tree species might get me thinking more....

think this was a nice area of 200+ year old oak woodland until they cut it all down, has now been replanted.
