Have you any photo's of the top of the cap and did you cut through it,if so was there any colour change.
Sorry fenwickfield no photo's of the top and also i did not cut into the fungi, but after looking on this site at other photo's i think it is this. Iam a novice at the moment so i could be well wrong thanks

It is not a Bay Bolete and B chrysenteron is a definite possibility.
