This looks like the red form of the black ones and it does have the little white "V" just in front of the wing cases. The markings on these are wildly variable.

Well i just looked at the markings between the head and the wing cases and that was it.
The size would help a great deal.

Harlequin always has brown

Harlequin always has brown legs, which helps distinguish it from species like this 2-spot which always have black legs
