The flower on the left rear looks like Petasites fragrans.

Petasites

I wondered about P. fragrans, though this has fewer flowers pwer spike - there were several plants, most with larger spikes than in this photo - this was simply the easiest one to get near to. I tried a flower and it wasn't vanilla-scented (which fragrans would be).
