Description:

Found this fly in work today, its a very dusty workshop and the fly is covered in dust. Its very slightly larger than a house fly but not as big as a blue bottle.

Thanks for the ID Martin and Ophrys also, yes when I first saw it, it reminded me of the only tachinid fly I am familiar with- tachina fera, it has a really similar spiky abdomen. Its a good bit smaller than tachina fera.
