The Oak and Ash seem to be coming out together in my local wood, I don't know where that leaves us with a weather forecast for the summer!!

I did make it up! We'll have to wait and see if it comes true - all folklore has to start somewhere, I suppose!

maybe if both together it will be perfect weather,sorry could not help join in.They are coming out at the same time up north too,but forecast snow showers tomorrow so who know's

Perfect weather!

I like that idea! I suppose it depends who is wishing for the weather because we really need rain here much as I've loved this spring sunshine. The bluebells in the wood are very sparse when there is normally a carpet of blue.

our ash is out before the oak

...so we shouldn't have a drought this summer! Hope it's right.
