Poa

The main photo looks like a Poa, perhaps P.pratensis, but I am less sure of the close-up.

The close up is of the individual lying almost horizontal

Possibly it is the same and just not developed?

photograph. Nothing looks 'right'. Those smaller plants are worrying.

?Bromus

I can't get away from thinking that the more or less panicled plants (largest in the centre of the picture, smaller at the bottom) are Bromus hordeaceus agg. Mainly from the spikelets, but also the leaf-blades.

Is the map accurate? Sub-strandline?

Yes, it was in the sand dunes

Yes, it was in the sand dunes behind the beach. The picture is not good enough and the grasses are immature.
