I'm fairly new to bees so forgive my ignorance, but how do you tell the difference between B. pratorum and terrestris queens?
It was so SMALL though! I didn't think that terrestris could be that small. I know you don't get much of a sense of scale, but this bee was less than 2/3 the size of some terrestris I've seen. Do they vary that much?
p.s. i have another one i though was pratorum, will post that too - see what you think.
