Description:

Hi there everyone! I found this caterpillar under a white dead nettle in my garden. I run a gardening club at a primary school and wonder if this would be a good one to grow on and show the children? Also, do you know what the foodplant is please?

Please add these separately

Please add these separately so they can be ID's as such.

In answer to your question, yes they'd be nice to rear and to show the children.

Best wishes,

It will feed on most things,

It will feed on most things, it's polyphagous. Try a range of common trees and plants, such a nettles. It will be very easy to please.
