Found growing on the ground in coniferous woodland. Would be interested to know what the fungus and moss is.

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

The moss looks like one of the Fissendens species.
It is hard to get to species without expensive equipment and so on as can be seen from comments on the specimen i found.
I'm happy even to just know what genus they might be :-) Many thanks.
Sometimes (or often!) it is not easy to separate C. chlorophaea and C. fimbriata in the field, particularly with rather young material. My feeling is that this is C. fimbriata, but if I were recording I would ignore this and wait for something more convincing for either species.
