I still haven't seen this one, but I am sure you are right.
I have just checked Mark Seaward and Alan Pentecost's study (http://www.thefsc.org/fieldstudies/documents/Vol10.1_267.pdf) in which it was "locally frequent" and presumably still is. I saw it in one other awkard location, in a limestone cleft, 1-2 miles away.
The location recorded for this one is accurate and easy to reach from Mardale if you are ever in the area and feel the need. The waterfall is an added bonus.
