Found growing on the trunk of a tree in an ancient woodland, I think the tree may have been field maple but I am not certin.

Brampton woods is owned by the Wildlife Trust, it is the second larest ancient woodlands in Cambridgeshire. The Woodland is mostly oak, ask and field maple but also has areas on conifer trees.
