White object
Description:

Unknown white object seen on roadside verge in North Warwickshire.
Not sure if Fungi, Plant or Insect secretion.
Other patches appeared over folowing days.
Dissolved in rain over following days/weeks

Myxomycete

I think this is one of the myxomycetes, also known as slime moulds. I've added a tentative ID.

Mucilago

Good ID - it's known for encrusting plant stems, especially grasses, and is the one often called 'dog's vomit' (nice) due to its appearance when the plasmodia first emerges. It's harmless to the substrate plant and disappears with the next rain,
