Description:

Found on fallen tree in a wood dominated by beech trees, the largest of the fruit bodies is about 8 inches across. There is no noticeable stipe, but the gills run right down to the base of the fruit bodies. No discernible smell. My best guess is Oyster mushroom - but which variety?
