Dark green pointed leaves. Growing in woodland but not far from the ruins of an old house.

of ancient woodland,The leaves are adapted spines called cladodes.The fls. are tiny.Used for cleaning butchers' tables.

Not common in Northern Ireland

With the ruins of a house within 20m, I suspect this one may have originated as a garden plant.
