Description:

A mass of loose, long, thread-like branches of a pale sage-green colour. Seen growing on a Birch tree in a sheltered area of woodland.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

If you change the ID to just 'Usnea' so it links in with other observations, then I'll agree.

Naming the species is often impossible from photographs.
