Primula vulgaris was my guess

Primula vulgaris was my guess as well, but it has a long stem which is strange for me. Does everyone knows the aswer?

Primula

Yes, the stalks do look quite long now you mention it... Looked in a wildflower book (Blamey, Fitter and Fitter) and it says P. vulgaris has 'long shaggy stalks'... Another book (Collins Flower Guide) says 'stalks to c.10cm', so it looks like long stems are the norm! Happy botanising!
