Observed in Kaeng Krachan National Park, West Thailand. Not sure if the first picture is of the same bird.

I’m inclined to agree you may have two species of Minivet here. The first picture could be a Scarlet Minivet Pericrocotus flammeus and the other two a Grey-chinned Minivet Pericrocotus solaris.
I’m no expert on East Asian birds and I’m sure someone will come round and correct me, interesting observations though – kept me up half the night checking the reference books.
